11 things that were interesting in 2010.

2010 wasn’t bad. It wasn’t great either, but at least it wasn’t totally boring. Here are 11 things that kept me entertained.

· Honoring Glen Bell, the founder of Taco Bell.

· A website that made me laugh.

· The 37 or so ingredients in a Twinkie.

· People played around with Chatroulette for a little while.

· Smart people win at drinking.

· A short film (1:09) made entirely on a flatbed scanner.

· Advertising got automated (and it wasn’t pretty).

· My bocce ball team made it to the final four.

· A behind-the-scenes look at professional hand models.

· A typology of lifeguard chairs.
